16th annual Headbanging Hot Rod drag race

A day like a time travel at the 16th annual Headbanging Hot Rod drag race.

Once a year a former sowjet airfield in Brandenburg/East Germany

transform in a 1/8 mile race track for US custom cars & bikes built in 1958 or earlier.

This event is a great happening for racers, mechanics, rockabellas, rockabillys

and us custom lovers from all over Europe.

fading memories of croatia

Holiday season is a nice time to travel for a while .

But the enjoyed impressions after a relatively short time begin to fade out .

The seen places become more and more diffuse and someday the memories are only vague shadows.

This was my inspiration to make this pictures during my vacation trip through Croatia.
